There is also the Gingko biloba – a true dinosaur in the flora world. This living fossil was already growing when tyrannosaurs reigned on Earth! Is it not fascinating that its leaves have never evolved as if time has stopped for it?
And if you look at the mighty maple-leaf plane tree, be careful – its spreading crown and twisted bark make it look like a tree from a fairytale of sorts… Maybe it’s where the ghost of the old park hides?
