Przemyśl – a city that astonishes you
This is one of the oldest cities in Poland, full of mysterious histories and unique attractions. Important notice:
- The oldest road sign in Poland – Przemyśl has the oldest surviving road sign in our country! It’s a stone sign from 1687, showing the way to Lviv.
- Underground city – under the Old Town, there is a network of old cellars and tunnels that were once used by merchants to store their goods and in the wartime served as a shelter for the inhabitants.
- The largest collection of pipes in Poland – the Museum of Bells and Pipes presents unique pipes, including intricately carved specimens that are true works of art!
