Symphony of History – Music Festival in Łańcut
The castle in Łańcut has been teeming with music for ages now – already in the 18th century, the sounds of concerts organised by the Lubomirski and Potocki families resounded here. In 1961, this tradition was revived as the Chamber Music Das, to evolve years later into the prestigious Music Festival in Łańcut, hosting the greatest stars of the world – from José Carreras to Rafał Blechacz.
But they’re no ordinary concerts at all – it’s like a time travel where Bach meets jazz and the music fills in the Baroque interiors and park alleys. If you think classical music is boring, come to Łańcut and let them prove you wrong. Here, every note has its own history and the festival is like the best symphony – memorable and everlasting!
