And at the end, something special awaits you – the local cornelian cherry liqueur, known for its unparalleled flavor. What you can expect:
- Dereniówka is an old noble drink – a delicacy on manor and palace tables. Due to its unique taste and aroma, it was called the "Queen of Liqueurs".
- In the old days, dogwood bushes were planted around castles, palaces, and manors, which decorated the gardens as they bloomed abundantly heralding the arrival of spring. In autumn, jams, juices, and liqueurs were made from ripe fruits.
- Therefore, the biggest initial secret of the quality and elegance of DERENIÓWKA BASK is the use of a mixture of own selected fruits of the BASK and ALBIGOWIANKA varieties in its production.
- It is worth planning a bit more time for a visit to the "Albigowskie Orchards" because, apart from the exceptional cornelian cherry liqueur, you can try excellent pressed apple juice here, and purchase pears and apples from the local orchards.
- Also noteworthy is the manor manager's house from 1927 with rooms equipped at a museum level, a private carriage museum with several dozen exhibits from the 19th and 20th centuries, military vehicles from the first half of the 20th century, and a military kitchen.
- If you want to visit the "Albigowskie Orchards", you need to schedule an appointment in advance.
