The Synagogue of Łańcut – A Baroque Treaure of Our Mutual History

Important notice:
- One of the oldest synagogues in Poland – built in 1761 with the foundation of Grand Crown Marshal Stanisław Lubomirski.
- Saved from destruction – in 1939, the Germans set fire to the synagogue, but the people of Łańcut fortunately managed to save it.
- Part of the Jewish Heritage Trail – the synagogue in Łańcut is one of the best preserved Jewish temples in Poland and an important point on the map of Jewish monuments in Europe.
- When visiting the synagogue, make sure your clothing is appropriate for a sacred place like this.
- The building is not wheelchair accessible.
