Spectacle of Elements – the Multimedia Fountain in Rzeszów
Come and enjoy this magical show that will take your breath away, admire the Multimedia Fountain in Rzeszów! It’s an incredible fusion of water, light and music, which, if put together, create a spectacular show that leaves all the spectators literally speechless.
What can you expect?
In brief:
- Opened in 2013, on Lubomirski Avenue, next to the castle. It is the third largest construction of this type in Poland.
- The Multimedia Fountain of Rzeszów is one of the most technologically advanced installations in Poland and even in Europe.
- In front of the fountain, there is an amphitheatre with 300 seats, built on a slope, which makes the shows well visible. Underground, directly under the fountains, there is a room which houses, amongst others, the fountain’s computer control centre. More than 4 thousand trees and bushes have been planted around the structure.
- The first show took place on 17 August 2013 and gathered approximately 10 000 spectators. It was directed by Bogumił Palewicz.
Important notice:
- 47.5km of electric cables were required for the installation.
- The Multimedia Fountain in Rzeszów cost more than PLN 7 million. 37 tonnes of steel and 440m³ of concrete were used for the construction.
- 4 thousand trees and bushes have been planted around the structure.
